I am looking to assist a national paper with examples of hardships imposed by recent court closures or poor performance by the courts owing to cuts.

Does anyone have any examples of hardship caused through the closure of local youth courts?  I have in mind the closure of Hammersmith and the burden on young people to get to Highbury?

Please can you have a think and if you have examples please email me directly.

Has anyone had a really bad experience of maladministration by the courts?  Errors causing trials to be vacated or perhaps just denial of access to a hearing for an unreasonable length of time.

Thanks

Mark
