LEGAL AID AND THE RIGHT TO PROTEST

Young Legal Aid Lawyers' next London meeting will be on Wednesday 12 June 2019, from 6:30pm at Irwin Mitchell (40 Holborn Viaduct, Holborn, London EC1N 2PZ) on "Legal Aid and the Right to Protest". Following the Extinction Rebellion, Stansted 15, milkshaking and anti-Trump demonstrations, protest rights have rarely been more topical. 

We are delighted to be joined by Rhona Friedman, criminal defence solicitor and co-founder of Commons, the not-for-profit criminal law firm, and Ian Browne, Advice and Information Manager at Liberty.
