I have not previously sought work on this forum but there are some very specific personal reasons I am doing so in this way for today and tomorrow only. Happy to discuss in more detail privately with anyone who wants to do so. Not seeking to undercut anyone or bring rates down in general

 Dear All

I think this a good time to remind all members about use of the members email group.

This email group has become a valuable tool for us all to find cover when required.

The group works best when we all try to stick to few simple rules and I attach for new members (or a reminder to those long-standing members) the rules of use.

Can I draw your attention to the following:

1.       Any email relating to the arranging of cover or offering availability must have the word COVER in the subject line.

2.       Once you have the matter covered, please do not reply all to indicate it is covered. I appreciate sending the follow up email may stop you receiving further offers of assistance but please be mindful that you are sending hundreds of people an unnecessary email.

3.       Recruitment emails are prohibited. Please contact the association if you wish to place an advert on our website.

4.       Many of our members are freelancers and we welcome their input and assistance to cover work. However, ‘availability’ emails should be restricted to once a week please. Daily emails offering assistance are prohibited. Members will be in touch with you if and when we need your assistance.

5.       Please do not seek cover on behalf of other firms – they can join the association if they wish.

6.       Please be mindful of client confidentiality.

I hope you all have a lovely weekend

Many thanks.
