Some members like us may not have direct video link facilities.
Given the potential for lockdown we have sourced a firm that provides encrypted video links to prisons from our own laptops for £30 plus VAT. We have had written confirmation from the LAA they will pay it as a disbursement. I suspect
individual firms would have to make their own request.
Just thought i would pass this on to you. Hope its helpful.

I can confirm that the video link would be a reasonable expense to incur in lieu of travel expenses given the current situation.
The LAA would reimburse this provided that you could upload an invoice/receipt for the video link service for each claim it is utilised on.
I would also advise that you upload a copy of this email confirmation with each claim that you make for this service for completeness.
