I honestly can’t believe that any firm can think it right or appropriate (or in compliance with all sorts of legislation others probably understand way better than me) to send their colleagues to an environment that requires the wearing of PPE…

It has been rightly drawn to our attention that any Police protocol which intends to provide PPE to the OiC, AA, interpreter and legal representative, should also provide the same to suspects.
Although this is not specifically stipulated in the Kent Police protocol referred to in our Message, we do endorse this position and we have amended our Message accordingly
