I may have upset PACE inspector when I asked him to keep 2m from me and my client.  I was informed that all video identifcation captures were suspended for CV19 so would I consent to use of custody photo. No said I.  Not satisfied at all that capture isn’t possible. I asked him to record my observations which he was reluctant to. Finally ageees that I should email my remarks to go on police file for CPS.
