Please find attached a listing policy which the Crown Courts in London and the South East will implement from tomorrow, Wednesday 6 May 2020. The policy in large part reflects existing practice in our courts. The policy has been produced for the sake of clarity and to ensure that all judges, staff and court users know how cases will be listed for the moment. You should note that Appendix A contains a specific procedure for conducting PTPHs, which allows the judge to dispense with attendance by advocates if they consider that to be appropriate. Appendix A has been adopted by some, but not all, courts on circuit. Where not adopted, the court will continue to hold PTPH hearings with advocates attending, remotely in most cases.
