A reminder of my email from HMPPS last week of the CVP roll out program below, Bronzefield due in tranche 3 this Thursday.  Prisons not named are not currently involved in CVP but we await further announcements:

The new CPV Video Meeting Room (VMR) service to enable people to remotely join video calls with prisons was ready to serve the courts in Tranche 1 (HMPs Doncaster, Durham, Elmley, Hull, Leeds, Wandsworth and Wormwood Scrubs) as planned on Monday 27 April. The new central visit booking service also became available for these prisons on 27 April.

As advised last week, Tranche 2 prisons (High Down, Pentonville, Bedford, Hewell, Birmingham, Bullingdon, Lewes, Peterborough Female & Peterborough Male, Forest Bank and Belmarsh) will be ready to serve the courts from Thursday 7 May. Our thanks once again to governors and staff in all these prisons for working so hard to make this happen at such a swift pace.

We are now preparing to engage with governors and staff in the eight prisons in Tranche 3. These are HMP & YOIs Eastwood Park, Foston Hall, Styal and HMPs Bronzefield, Low Newton, New Hall, all in the women’s estate plus also HMPs Nottingham and Swansea. Subject to readiness, these establishments will be ready to serve the courts from Thursday 14 May. We will share the plan for the remaining three tranches on a weekly basis….

Could anyone tell me what the current arrangements are for video links at HMP Bronzefield. Thewy are not being arranged through the current central booking system
