No to not have high street offices disputed but so have the courts that they were opened next to .

They have always taken the stance that we can only hold duties or get paid for travel where we do not travel more than 45 minutes to a court from our office…so now they are burdening us with considerably longer journeys they should pay us travel and mileage.
My round trip to Wimbledon or Lavender Hill will probably take about 4 hours but my duty attendance claim will probably only amount to 4hours as well. So for @ 8 hours commitment I will earn @£200 and put 60 miles on my car – oh and parking costs too!
We are complete and utter mugs!

LAA are doing this all over London.Like Croydon court rotas at Bromley and Lavender Hill.
What can we do!

The LAA have decided we will carry out our Bexley Court rotas at Wimbledon for the foreseeable…is anyone aware of them offering to pay us for the considerable additional travel time and mileage?
