The helpline people are very helpful but what a waste of time...
...and they really need to take that dreadful automaton woman going on about if your account has been de-activated off the voicemail 'greeting' or there will be a riot!

I had the same issue. The helpdesk advisor said it was a recognised problem and that they are still trying to fix it. That was over a week ago.

 

The temporary workaround is to call the helpdesk, as them to talk you through the password reset process and keep them on the phone until you’re logged into the portal with your new password. Sadly, if you come out of the portal, you will probably have to go through that same process again!

Subject: Common platform problems

 

Just checking if anyone else is having problems or if its just me! 

The registration process is reasonably straightforward, once you work out what they mean by various terms! I registered and authentication was confirmed. I then tried to get in and it told me my user name was incorrect (which it wasn't) It eventually reset for me, but I still cant get in this morning and when I emailed their help desk, the email is returned as undeliverable. Twice! So far i have probably spent 2 hours on this thing...
