I wrote directly to debbie.mckinnon@Justice.gov.uk and got an answer within 30 minutes!

She said her job is “mainly identifying Short Bail Trials that can be transferred to the Nightingale CC to assist with clearing the back log”.

I am informed “Snaresbrook is sitting at nearly full capacity most days except today and tomorrow due to Judges attending Judicial Courses”.

She then said:

“I am sorry that you have been unsuccessful in getting through to Admin and I can assure this is being addressed with the new staff.”

Adding

“We are commencing drop in sessions from next Month and it would be of assistance if you could attend either in person or via Teams with any ideas you can bring forward.

I have now identified your Trial as being suitable for Transfer to the Nightingale if you are ready or alternative dates can be identified to suit Counsels availability.”

She attached the drop in session document attached here.

Her details are now below which should help other Solicitors on this group as it has a magic direct line to listing (which I bet won’t be picked up!!)

Also if anyone has a bail trial that they want listing and are ready with, this may be the best person to contact? I almost feel bad giving out these details because I know how desperate we all are and it ma be a world of pain that will come down on her shoulders – but when it comes down to it, we need to stick up for each other and try and help ourselves.
