Wouldn’t it be wonderful , if collectively we sent a message to the LAA by not volunteering for this ?

it’s not mass action but it’s a start  , demonstrates some level of  solidarity and not likely to cause any contract breaches .

Subject: Notting Hill Carnival - extra cover

This email is being sent out to multiple scheme members

Good afternoon

We have been asked by the police to put together extra duty solicitor cover over the August Bank Holiday weekend.  The cover will be required on Sunday 28th and Monday 29th August.

We plan on allocating the extra cover slots on a volunteer basis.  Could you please let us know if you would be interested in volunteering for this extra cover rota?

Kind regards
