I am sure I am not alone in wanting to thank you for running central booking for 32 years . It has been a mainstay of the defence community in London and been the go to agency for many of us knowing that our clients would have reliable and experienced  lawyers looking after them . We have seen some great lawyers including  yourself , Dan O Callaghan  , Jerry White , Iain Purdie , Libby Harris , Jerry White,  Julia Newton , Martin Lewis , Brigit Irving , Caroline McAdam , Jackie Joseph , Roger Turner and many more who deserve to be included in a role of honour and whose names will come to me.  It’s sad that many of those names won’t be gracing our courts any more .

Dear Members

It is with sadness and pride that after 32 years Central Booking is calling it a day, today, 2nd September 2022. Over the years our many members have been truly formidable, effective and caring defence advocates.

We have worked for numerous firms since 1st July 1990 and would like to thank them for instructing us. We were the first freelance solicitor advocates group in London.

We can only hope that one day very soon a government will invest in the criminal justice system and not continue to dismantle it!
