To all those who have a LCCSA Court User Card,

 

I have received an number of emails from Court User holders that your Card does not work when you are at Court.

 

This seems to be an ongoing issue with HMCTS and it is due to some of the Courts working offline and so they will not be able to sync your card with their scanner machines. 

 

If the court has scanned your card and the app says it’s unknown, once the court has connected to Wi-Fi and synchronised their scanner,  your card will then scan and be authorised.

 

We are going to see if there is anything we can do to resolve the issue with the courts who seem to work offline.

 

If you need to renew your Court User ID Card, please let me know and I will arrange for an updated card to be sent to you.
