Not sure if this is the right place for this but I am a duty solicitor  looking for a new consultancy berth come October. I am aware that the Crim12 needs to be in by mid-July, so I want to allow sufficient time for a sensible discussion.

Some info about me:

I was admitted to the roll in 1997. I do not have higher rights. Highly experienced advocate who has done fought dozens of trials and am happy to conduct my own advocacy including trials. Absolutely no trials for anyone else except on private rates.

What I’m looking for:

1.    Ideally a firm that covers Central or South London.

2.    My slots go where I go. So, if we part company, my slots come with me.

3.    Content with either a retainer and per job fee or a simple per job payment.

4.    One month’s written notice on either side if things don’t work out.

5.    Sufficient casework to ensure that I am duty compliant.
