Use the above email addresses to grant us access to the Common Platform.

In new cases, please supply us with the date of birth to enable us to use the Common Platform to access the IDPC.

Our fee will generally be £60, increasing to £75 if we complete it for you in one hearing. We reserve the right to charge more in the event of greater complexity but this will be rare.

Trials and S36/38 hearings by arrangement. We can assist with Duty Solicitor swaps/cover subject to LAA Contract Compliance, please contact us individually for each particular Court.

Increasingly, we are being asked to deal with bail applications for breaches of Crown Court bail, at the instance of both firms and referrals from Chambers. We only undertake these as agencies from the firm concerned not as a ‘Crown Court appearance’ with the advocate’s fee of £91. We only charge £60 for that reason to leave a profit element for the firm. We are not engaged by the Chambers that are briefed and do not account to them – no contract exists in those circumstances, although of course the firm is entitled to recoup the £91 from the barrister concerned in the usual way.

No-one likes the Common Platform but if you can get into a case, it offers access to more case material that is often available under the Libra system. The problem is getting in. And although we can get the IDPC by simply signing in, we cannot complete the PET and BCM forms without a grant of access. If we claim the case on our own account to do so we block your firm completely. Please assign us as soon as we are instructed, failure to do so causes delay to us and your client.

Best Wishes,

Bruce
