Subject: SUGGESTIONS RE ACCOMMODATING A DEFENDANT FROM OVERSEAS - HELP REQUIRED!

Good morning All,

is anyone aware of any provisions in the criminal justice system  for accommodating a defendant who resides overseas , but is required to attend his trial ( listed for 4-5 days) in the UK ?

Problem is client says he does not have the financial means to accommodate him self in the UK for longer than 2 days.

Can anyone assist as I don’t  know what to suggest  to him.

Sholape Alli
