Subject: Firm owners : please read
Dear Members
We are writing to let you know that a group of firm owners have prepared a letter to send to the MOJ when the tender closes on 22nd October in short complaining about the failure to deliver on fee rises following and not limited to the
successful High Court JR and the Bellamy Review.
It also mentions the Law Society concerns about the long term viability of criminal defence work without an increase in legal aid rates.
They obviously want as many firms as possible to sign the letter.
If your firm is interested please email:
criminallegalaidfirms@gmail.com
The deadline is less than a week so please get in touch as soon as possible if interested,
