Dear Members,
Following an LCCSA suggestion, CPS London are hosting a "CPS-Defence Engagement " event, where senior Prosecutors will meet Defence Lawyers and give us an opportunity to raise all those issues that frustrate us , including charging standards, disclosure, non-disclosure, digital working, reviews, and anything else you may want to raise.
The event is hosted in their Rose Court HQ on 2, Southwark Bridge Rd(short walk from London Bridge)
It is open to all from senior partners to junior fee-earners, and it would be great if every firm could send one or two lawyers with a list of the questions you would like answered or points raised.
If there are enough in attendance, we have the option of going for a quick drink afterwards-there are some good hostelries nearby. But for those short on time, it's possible to raise your point and leave.
I attach the invitation:-

"Dear all
On behalf of the Chief Crown Prosecutor Baljit Ubhey, please accept this invite to attend the CPS London & Defence Practitioners Engagement Event on 28th September 2016.

I would be grateful if you could RSVP to this event by email no later than 21st September 2016 to NKBH.ExecutiveOffice@cps.gsi.gov.uk<mailto:NKBH.ExecutiveOffice@cps.gsi.gov.uk>. "

I Hope to see some of you there!
