I think it would be productive for us to call the feeder police stations on the morning of the virtual court duty to check. That way nothing slips through the net and no time is wasted. 

I don't know the feeder stations for Westminster- can anyone assist ? 

(This is of course on the basis that the stations actually answer the phone!)

I went to Camberwell Green & I phoned Walworth Police Station to enquire if there were any VC cases and was told there were none and they would not be any as custody would be taken to court cells as there was no VC officer on duty.

So essentially a waste of time and resource covering the Rota. I left at 10:30 am and managed to cover other work in the afternoon, otherwise it would have been a wasted day.

I got told this yesterday by someone else when I was already at the court and after I had called the court to ask what the arrangement was and they said I had to attend and wait for cases! So, if they tell you this, don't listen. Plus, it turns out the police don't have the spare resources to do VCs at the moment, so you won't get called in all likelihood anyway. They are simply wasted slots.
