Dear Keima
Thank you for responding to our message on Twitter.
As briefly explained, we are looking for someone to assist with a Q&A session on sexual assault and consent law, tomorrow evening between 6-8pm at the University of Law, Moorgate. If you are not available for the whole session, that is absolutely fine.
We would be grateful for any time you can volunteer.
By way of background, Big Voice London is a social mobility charity, which seeks to engage A-Level students from non-traditional backgrounds with law and legal policy, with the aim of improving access to the legal profession. We are currently running our
annual Model Law Commission project, which provides them with the opportunity to mirror the work of the Law Commission over the course of three months. Included within this project, is a Q&A session which is due to take place tomorrow evening. Unfortunately
the speakers who volunteered earlier in the project are now either unavailable tomorrow, or have fallen ill and as such we are reaching out again to the legal profession for assistance.
As indicated above, one of our groups of students are looking at reform of the law surrounding sexual assault and consent. As a volunteering professional, you would be required to attend the session and where possible, answer the student's questions on
sexual assault and consent law.
If this is something you would be able to assist with, please do let us know. Equally do feel free to ask us any questions you may have.
Kind regards
Victoria Anderson
