The London Criminal Courts Solicitors' Association ("LCCSA") was founded in 1948. Members are Solicitors who practise in and around the Greater London area. Included are Prosecutors and self-employed advocates legal reps and police reps. Honorary Members (who are past Members of the Association) include Circuit Judges and District Judges.
The objects of the London Criminal Courts Solicitors' Association are to: -
§ Encourage and maintain the highest standards of advocacy and practice in the Criminal Courts in and around London;
§ To participate in discussions on developments in the criminal process;
§ To represent and further the interests of the Members on any matters which may affect Solicitors/Legal Reps who practise in the Criminal Courts; and
§ To improve, develop and maintain the education and knowledge of those actively concerned with the Criminal Courts, including those who are in the course of their training.
So please join the LCCSA at their AGM, next Monday night, at 6:30pm to find out what we have been doing to represent YOU and what we are going to be doing in the forthcoming year.
The AGM is going to be at The Crypt, St Ethelredas, Farringdon and will included a three course dinner and wine, catered by the legendary Bleeding Heart (French Tavern).
