The Project Manager of the Youth Justice Legal Centre at Just for Kids Law. has written to tell me about their 2018 training programme that they are currently running on the following training days:
They are now offering an early bird discount for their training if booked before 31st January. The reduced price of £250 for a day’s training can be booked here.
This one-day course will ensure criminal solicitors meet their CPD requirements and have the expertise needed to represent children at the police station and in court. The SRA have recently recognised the need for solicitors working in the youth court to have specialist knowledge and expertise (see their specialist support package for solicitors working in youth courts).
Just for Kids Law has a reputation for providing high quality training and has been delivering training to solicitors, barristers and youth justice professionals for a number of years – last year, 100% of the lawyers we trained said they would recommend our training to others.
Their training involves interactive exercises and break out sessions delivered by leading youth justice lawyers and young people. The training is tailored to meet the needs of all practitioners so can be an introductory training for solicitors new to the youth court or refresher training for more experienced solicitors.

Sara
