HOW TO POLISH YOUR REMAND ADVOCACY TO PERFECTION

No more ummms and ahhhs, just clear confident argument that charms the birds off the trees and melts the heart of the most miserable of District Judges - well, almost......

Bruce Reid returns with his annual course to firm up your advocacy skills. The course is aimed at giving confidence to the newly qualified and/or refreshing the skills of those who are more experienced but are now desk-bound and who are being spurred back to Court for the sake of 'compliance'.

Delegates will be relieved to learn there is no Law in the course - you are expected to know that......instead we will concentrate on devising a supportive structure to deal with first appearances and sentences and work through real-life cases by example. By the end of the course you should be far better prepared to deal with a heavy Duty list on spec and be able to analyse a difficult sentence to produce better results. Remember they cant get re-arrested if you don't get them out in the first place.

A fun evening held in the luxurious bar of Hodge Jones and Alan. Seriously. How else do they run a successful Legal Aid Practice?
