The most printable suggestion as to what to do with the pages 3-5 is simply to tack them on to our client care letter. The form remains on our file and pages 1 and 2 never go to the client.

I doubt that the LAA has even thought about it........

Have members seen the Andrew Keogh's Twitter post that the GDPR does NOT apply to documents that are subject to legal privilege and/or confidentiality? If correct, then most of the panicked mails I have had from firms about data are wasted......

The legislation seems clear.

Surely pages 3-5 are to give to the client? Or am I missing something?

Subject: New online declaration forms

Happy Friday everyone, the last day of deleting GDPR emails from your inbox without reading them.

You might have heard that it has led to v3 of the online form, and be delighted to see it is now 5 pages.

Would be interested to know whether people think we are bound to keep the new 3 pages on file or can just carry on retaining the first 2 pages for audit.  Seems to me to be a nonsense to have to reproduce them on every file.  Is anyone aware of any guidance?
