As you will now all be aware, the LAA have issued updated guidance on what work will 'count' for 14 hours. We know that, despite these changes, there will be some members who will still find it very difficult to make up the 14 hours per week, due to working freelance for a number of firms or part-time to accommodate caring commitments or due to ill health.

We intend to continue campaigning on this issue and would therefore welcome updated statements from all solicitors negatively affected, explaining the difficulties you will face with complying, even with these changes.
