The Law Society are running a number of LASPO Review Focus Groups in London and are inviting criminal lawyers to attend to participate:

“The Society is inviting crime practitioners to attend one of our LASPO Review Focus Groups. Please note that the Society’s submissions to the review will cover a number of issues affecting crime practitioners, including:

• Means testing and unrepresented defendants;
• Sustainability issues – age profiles and how firms have been impacted by the lack of any increase for over 20 years;
• Impact of the 8.75% cut;
• Impact of the LGFS cut.

 

For these reasons we encourage crime practitioners as well as civil to sign up for the Focus Groups so we can feed your views in to our submissions. For dates and locations please follow the link below:
