So they lie… are you telling me that the Virtual Court Officer doesn’t have a list of the firm on Virtual Court Duty?

There must be some sanction for that sort of behaviour?

Who does this and why have they not been reported? We were only saying the other day that VC must be dead as we never get any calls when we are VC duty.

The tactic at Camberwell is to call the Virtual Court Officer and tell them they are Virtual Court Duty and get them to give them the cases directly.

I have done hundreds.

I am not sure the Virtual Court is actually open at Brixton at the moment so there may be no scheme.

You are called by the DSCC and choose whether to go to the Court or Police Station. You claim a fixed fee of £182.50 + fares + VAT for each case. I go to the Police Station if the case is likely to continue to complete legal aid.

Beware touts trying to intercept the Virtual Court calls.
