'Fast Track' / 'No Search'
I too have have similar experiences at Wimbledon MC. Again I am a regular attender.
Worth making the point also that according to security their typed list of those registered was short, and having seen it, I would agree. Yet is takes several minutes for the card to be compared to the list.
Followed by questions:-
1."Which organisation are you with?"
2."Do you have any prohibited articles with you?"
3."Are you brining in anything for anyone else?"
4.When the answer , "No" was given to both questions 2. and 3. Questioned, "Are you sure?"
The following day it was decided the number on my LCCSA card did not match the number recorded on security's list.
The process actually took longer than it normally should. At Wimbledon the new system is clearly not working to the benefit of defence advocates.
Lawyers at this court when searched are asked to sip any drink. Male defence advocates are asked to remove their belts.
Kindest Regards,
Caryn
