Hello All,
Can anyone explain to me why we “need” to sign in with front reception desk when we attend this court as Duty please?
How does signing with security avoid “confusion” and “ delay”....like the security guys ( bless ‘em) are going to run upstairs to fetch you when someone presents looking for the court 6 duty!
If avoidance of confusion and delay were the point surely the “need” would be to sign in with the usher of the relevant court...which I am sure we all do automatically.
I suspect signing in is just a preliminary to signing out as well- and we all know what that is about ( such untrustworthy creatures that we are) but the email from LAA only says that I “need” to sign IN and therefore I do NOT “need” to sign OUT?
Does anyone have a different view?
To be honest I have never signed in as duty in my life but I just might now albeit my signature maybe accompanied by commentary.
Regards,
Ros
