The MOJ has received approval to continue the Professional Access scheme from the end of November 2018 to the end of February 2019. The scheme will continue in current locations only (ie. where we they have existing registrations at any of the main pilot courts involving the Law Society, CILEx and the Bar Council or where they have registrations for the national pilot from CLSA or LCCSA members).

The scheme is only  available to legal professionals who are already registered for the scheme as there will be no further updates to the registration lists that courts currently hold.

Continuing the scheme in its current format will allow time for the pilot evaluation to be completed and a decision taken on whether the scheme should be rolled out nationally without having to stop and then possibly restart the scheme.

A  survey is now open for legal professionals to give feedback on the scheme.

The questionnaire can be accessed at

https://www.smartsurvey.co.uk/s/8D1AN/. Any additional feedback can be sent to HMCTS-Professional-Access-Scheme@justice.gov.uk.
