If they were arrested for current offences, would they not count as Covid19 priority cases? Prostitution is hardly compatible with social distancing.

The concept of ‘priority cases’ seems lost on some custody officers.
Highbury Corner MC saw a number of prostitutes in custody for offences punishable only by a fine.
An almost total waste of resources; there was no need to have those defendants brought to Court during this emergency/unusual situation.
