Thanks for circulating this - even when we get through the virus close down there is going to be a dearth of work coming in with the police cutting back on investigations.
The CPS I understand will shortly when they get even start to look critically at some of the cases which have been adjourned and discontinue some on Public Interest Grounds. Good news to the clients but not so great for the future of those engaged in criminal law. Have a thought for the youngsters starting their careers.
Some firm locally to me are already putting staff on furlough - what a wonderful HR term.
