I have had a number of run ins with DDJs at Wimbledon on the issue of the 24 hour time limit for breach of bail.  Some DDJs just look at the legislation and make their own decision, despite representations on the case law, some listen to the submissions and decide on the case law, however perverse it may seem.  Bail was granted on all those cases where the DDJ did not consider the case law so no reviews.  Do members agree with the analysis as per attachment?
