I think I know the answer but thought I should check.

Has anyone managed to claim a payment on account for an expert instructed in a magistrates court trial? We have a youth on an indictable offence being tried in the youth court with a trial still months away. We obtained a psychological report a few months back and the expert, is seeking payment.

Just wanted to know if anyone had any suggestions?
